Battery Installation
- Remove all metal items that could cause a short circuit (e.g., jewelry, watches, pens, or metal objects).
- After unpacking, inspect the battery for any damage before installation.
- Removal of old battery: Disconnect the battery terminals in this order: negative first, then positive. Remove the battery clamp and take out the battery.
- Installation: Place the battery securely in the compartment. Install the clamp first, then connect the terminals in this order: positive first, then negative.
- Optional: To avoid loss of vehicle settings (such as the clock or presets), a backup battery may be connected in parallel during replacement.
